media studio

The College Library Media Studio combines studio and lab environments to produce rich learning experiences in innovative courses taught by faculty, academic staff, and graduate student instructors across campus.

Opened in early 2009, the Media Studio has hosted courses in Afro-American Studies, American Indian Studies, Computer Science, English, History, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Sociology.

The Libraries and DoIT offer support to help faculty develop new media projects for existing courses or create entirely new courses. In addition, DoIT’s Software Training for Students offers free workshops, either onsite or at nearby labs.

DHI envisions the College Library Media Studio as both a model and a node in a campus-wide network of spaces and services. For more info, visit the College Library Media Studio website.
